Sudden Realization
Everyone gets lost. It may not be geographically, but at some point and in some arena of life, everyone gets lost. “I don’t know how I got here. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what do next. How do I get out of this?” Maybe it was because of inaccurate directions, unexpected distractions, or simply poor choices, but if the statistics are right, over half of all Canadians are lost financially. They don’t know where they are. Many don’t know how they got where they are. In part 1 of this series, we’re going to focus on this practical and tangible area of our lives because Jesus had more to say about it than any other subject, and we’re going to wrestle with this tension: you can’t follow Jesus and remain lost financially.
