Simply Christmas – Joy
At Christmas time, despite our outward expressions of excitement and anticipation, we can sometimes feel inferior and isolated on the inside. We’re overcome with feelings of what we aren’t, who we can’t be with, what we can’t provide, and expectations we couldn’t possibly meet.
When the Angels announced to the Shepherds that Jesus had come for humble, unimportant people like them, they responded with great joy, despite being isolated and inferior.
