We’ve got it Backwards
“I found God.”
“I came back to God.”
Statements and sentiments like this are common, but that doesn’t mean they’re accurate. The most amazing thing about a story of faith isn’t that, “we came to God,” it’s that, “God came to us.” This is an important revelation and distinction because when we get this part of the story backwards, it impacts everything – how we view ourselves and what we do or don’t do.
In the first part of this series, we’ll look at Jesus’s famous tale of “The Three Stooges,” and discover who the “Master” is, and as a result, what the implications are for each of us today.
