Here Today, Gone Tomorrow
“Why do I have so much.”
Very few every ask this question because most think, “I don’t have enough.”
The reason we need to slow down occasionally and force ourselves to wrestle with the question, “Why do I have so much?” is because we live in a culture keeps us laser-focused on what we don’t have. The danger in that is when we continually focuse on what we don’t have, it makes our hearts vulnerable to greed.
In part 3 of this series, we’re going to focus on a story Jesus told to draw attention to this conflict. What we’re going to discover in the story he told is that chances are we’ll run out of time before we run out of things.
